CSRA Business WeatherBack to the barometer

Sources

Every reading on CSRA Business Weather comes from a public source. Here they are by topic, with a link to each original page. Figures are snapshots and may be revised by the source agencies.

How the numbers are used

Every figure on the barometer comes from a public source listed on this page, and each reading on the main page shows its source and date. The needle is a weighted average of three readings: labor tightness (35 percent), investment pipeline (35 percent) and layoff pressure (30 percent). The scoring rules are printed on the main page so anyone can check the math. Source agencies revise their numbers and publish on their own schedules. See the Disclaimer for how to read the data.
